Chaturanga is a foundational transition in many yoga practices — and also one of the most common sources of shoulder, wrist, and lower-back strain when done without proper support.

Chaturanga Foundations is a 2-hour technique workshop designed for both beginners and experienced practitioners who want to understand how Chaturanga works in the body, why injuries happen, and how to build strength safely and sustainably.

Whether you are still learning the basics or have been practicing for years, this workshop will help you refine your technique, build stability, and move with greater confidence.


What You’ll Learn

In this session, you will:

  • Understand what Chaturanga is (and what it is not)
  • Learn how to safely support the shoulders, elbows, wrists, and core
  • Practice strength-building drills suitable for all levels
  • Explore beginner-friendly and progressive variations
  • Learn how to choose the right version of Chaturanga for your body
  • Build confidence in your transitions

No experience is required — all exercises can be adapted.
